And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.

Consider my affliction and deliver me, For I do not forget Your law.

For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.

Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

But Jonathan had not heard his father charge the people with the oath; therefore he stretched out the end of the rod that was in his hand and dipped it in a honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his countenance brightened.

But Jonathan said, “My father has troubled the land. Look now, how my countenance has brightened because I tasted a little of this honey.
