For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

The rich man will lie down, But not be gathered up; He opens his eyes, And he is no more.

“Take him and look after him, and do him no harm; but do to him just as he says to you.”
