Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them,

knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
