but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have despised the Lord who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?” ’ ”

On the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.”

So the children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Surely we die, we perish, we all perish!

nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;
