After him Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, leader of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs as far as the place in front of the tombs of David, to the man-made pool, and as far as the House of the Mighty.

Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah—all his might, and how he made a pool and a tunnel and brought water into the city—are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

And the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.

And next to them Rephaiah the son of Hur, leader of half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs.

I made myself water pools from which to water the growing trees of the grove.

Behold, it is Solomon’s couch, With sixty valiant men around it, Of the valiant of Israel.
