To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.

Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.

So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.

I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.

Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; Then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?” says the Lord.
