So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.

So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”

So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Then fear came on all who dwelt around them; and all these sayings were discussed throughout all the hill country of Judea.

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,

And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”

Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.

So they answered and said, “John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again.”

And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.

“This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.’

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear,
