Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit.

They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”

But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

“Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers, and give the vineyard to others.

But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’ ”

So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”

Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!

“But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!

Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
