And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.

But after that they dared not question Him anymore.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done.

but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
