Leviticus 19:34

The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.

“You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

It shall be that you will divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who dwell among you and who bear children among you. They shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel; they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

And it shall be, if you go with us—indeed it shall be—that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

“You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were an alien in his land.

The children of the third generation born to them may enter the assembly of the Lord.

So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”
