The roaring of the lion, The voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping,

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?
