Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is distressed.

“Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver:

And the remnant of Jacob Shall be among the Gentiles, In the midst of many peoples, Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Who, if he passes through, Both treads down and tears in pieces, And none can deliver.

See! Your house is left to you desolate;

“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’
