You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,

To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
