“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

I would comfort myself in sorrow; My heart is faint in me.

And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.

And I said, “This is my anguish; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
