“If I cry out concerning wrong, I am not heard. If I cry aloud, there is no justice.
Even when I cry and shout, He shuts out my prayer.
“Would you indeed annul My judgment? Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?
“For Job has said, ‘I am righteous, But God has taken away my justice;
“I cry out to You, but You do not answer me; I stand up, and You regard me.
“Look, I know your thoughts, And the schemes with which you would wrong me.
For when I spoke, I cried out; I shouted, “Violence and plunder!” Because the word of the Lord was made to me A reproach and a derision daily.
O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent.
Oh, that one might plead for a man with God, As a man pleads for his neighbor!
Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of its judges. If it is not He, who else could it be?
“Surely He would not stretch out His hand against a heap of ruins, If they cry out when He destroys it.
