Withdraw Your hand far from me, And let not the dread of You make me afraid.
Remove Your plague from me; I am consumed by the blow of Your hand.
Surely no fear of me will terrify you, Nor will my hand be heavy on you.
Let Him take His rod away from me, And do not let dread of Him terrify me.
My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.
Will not His excellence make you afraid, And the dread of Him fall upon you?
Are not my days few? Cease! Leave me alone, that I may take a little comfort,
“Only two things do not do to me, Then I will not hide myself from You:
