So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?

Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. “To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

If your sons have sinned against Him, He has cast them away for their transgression.

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.

And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.
