At the noise of the taking of Babylon The earth trembles, And the cry is heard among the nations.

The earth shakes at the noise of their fall; At the cry its noise is heard at the Red Sea.

And the land will tremble and sorrow; For every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, To make the land of Babylon a desolation without inhabitant.

The sound of a cry comes from Babylon, And great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans,

Now the coastlands tremble on the day of your fall; Yes, the coastlands by the sea are troubled at your departure.” ’

The common-land will shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.

I made the nations shake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to hell together with those who descend into the Pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the depths of the earth.

Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.
