For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, And a cover from the tempest, As rivers of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

“The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

“The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.

Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord— For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all.

I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord.”

I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty.

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
