In the day you will make your plant to grow, And in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; But the harvest will be a heap of ruins In the day of grief and desperate sorrow.

Even as I have seen, Those who plow iniquity And sow trouble reap the same.

In the morning it flourishes and grows up; In the evening it is cut down and withers.

It shall be as when the harvester gathers the grain, And reaps the heads with his arm; It shall be as he who gathers heads of grain In the Valley of Rephaim.

The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

“They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up.

Ephraim is stricken, Their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb.”

The seed shrivels under the clods, Storehouses are in shambles; Barns are broken down, For the grain has withered.

And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.

But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
