By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father’s house for three months.

So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
