I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.

I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off!

Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law” —to whom we gave no such commandment—

Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.

And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.

I would like to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you.

I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.

But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, because of the great confidence which we have in you.

Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in everything.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man,

And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit—

You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
