But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”

No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
