Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Remember how short my time is; For what futility have You created all the children of men?

What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun?

What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?

He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.

And this also is a severe evil— Just exactly as he came, so shall he go. And what profit has he who has labored for the wind?

Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts That the peoples labor to feed the fire, And nations weary themselves in vain?

Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
