“For the Lord will judge His people And have compassion on His servants, When He sees that their power is gone, And there is no one remaining, bond or free.

therefore behold! I will bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam every male in Israel, bond and free; I will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as one takes away refuse until it is all gone.

‘Behold, I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your posterity, and will cut off from Ahab every male in Israel, both bond and free.

For the Lord saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel.

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab all the males in Israel, both bond and free.

And for their sake He remembered His covenant, And relented according to the multitude of His mercies.

For the Lord will judge His people, And He will have compassion on His servants.

He shall call to the heavens from above, And to the earth, that He may judge His people:

The Lord shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.

Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion on Your servants.

For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.

But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

‘If you will still remain in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. For I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought upon you.

Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God?

Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

The land also shall be left empty by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; they will accept their guilt, because they despised My judgments and because their soul abhorred My statutes.

So the Lord relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” said the Lord.

So the Lord relented concerning this. “This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”

And when the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed them and harassed them.
