Then the king said to me, “What do you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.

And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!”

And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak?

So he took him and brought him to the commander and said, “Paul the prisoner called me to him and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to say to you.”

And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire more fully about him.
