Now it came to pass, that when we had departed from them and set sail, running a straight course we came to Cos, the following day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

So, entering a ship of Adramyttium, we put to sea, meaning to sail along the coasts of Asia. Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, was with us.

When we had put to sea from there, we sailed under the shelter of Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.

But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored more eagerly to see your face with great desire.
