But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place.

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,

Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.

Then, as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers about what had become of Peter.

Then Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen:

And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me:

So they went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia; and when they had seen the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.

And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander motioned with his hand, and wanted to make his defense to the people.

On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

So when he had given him permission, Paul stood on the stairs and motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying,

And from there, when the brethren heard about us, they came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and Three Inns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.

After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.

for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.

and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
