And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.”

Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium, and it was early morning. But they themselves did not go into the Praetorium, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.

Then he invited them in and lodged them. On the next day Peter went away with them, and some brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. When he comes, he will speak to you.’

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
