Now it happened when David had come to the top of the mountain, where he worshiped God—there was Hushai the Archite coming to meet him with his robe torn and dust on his head.

on the third day, behold, it happened that a man came from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dust on his head. So it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the ground and prostrated himself.

Baanah the son of Hushai, in Asher and Aloth;

Ahithophel was the king’s counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion.

Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples,

then went out from Bethel to Luz, passed along to the border of the Archites at Ataroth,

Then a man of Benjamin ran from the battle line the same day, and came to Shiloh with his clothes torn and dirt on his head.
