Then Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.”

And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”

So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.
