This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
“The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the Lord.
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.
Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
