Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment.

All his days the wicked man suffers torment, the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him.

They conceive trouble and give birth to evil; their womb fashions deceit.”

You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw; your breath is a fire that consumes you.

“I will heap calamities on them and spend my arrows against them.

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
