I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
if I have concealed my sin as people do, by hiding my guilt in my heart
And they will go to others and say, ‘I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
