Psalm 119:1

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.

He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.

Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly.

Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.

The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.

So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.

Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”

In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.

“Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.

For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I am not guilty of turning from my God.

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
