He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert.

But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;

It was you who opened up springs and streams; you dried up the ever-flowing rivers.

By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up. The surging waters stood up like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth.
