Many brought offerings to Jerusalem for the Lord and valuable gifts for Hezekiah king of Judah. From then on he was highly regarded by all the nations.

“Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook. He rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

So it towered higher than all the trees of the field; its boughs increased and its branches grew long, spreading because of abundant waters.
