Matthew 20:34

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue.

Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.”

When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.

Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

“Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,
