Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.

So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.

He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive.

He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).

Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”

After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”

The commander took the young man by the hand, drew him aside and asked, “What is it you want to tell me?”
