At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind.

“When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when an enemy besieges them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come,

“But if the priest comes to examine it and the mold has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the defiling mold is gone.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.

For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.

Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?’ ”

because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”
