Leviticus 23:14

New International Version

You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

You made known to them your holy Sabbath and gave them commands, decrees and laws through your servant Moses.

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.

“Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God. “Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

and so you can teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses.”

“ ‘If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the Lord, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.

You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.

“ ‘This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’ ”

Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and follow carefully these decrees.
