I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.

I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

and who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord.”

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.’ ”

Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the Lord. He is a holy God; he is a jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.

for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

“There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
