I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.

Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which lives by itself in a forest, in fertile pasturelands. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in days long ago.

This is what the Lord says: “Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, Judah, I will afflict you no more.

This is the city of revelry that lived in safety. She said to herself, “I am the one! And there is none besides me.” What a ruin she has become, a lair for wild beasts! All who pass by her scoff and shake their fists.

From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart and do not consider themselves one of the nations.

So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.
