Isaiah 21:6

New International Version

This is what the Lord says to me: “Go, post a lookout and have him report what he sees.

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest,

The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city. “Have you seen the one my heart loves?”

The watchman called out to the king and reported it. The king said, “If he is alone, he must have good news.” And the runner came closer and closer.
