“Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.

They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.

This is what the Lord says: “For three sins of Judah, even for four, I will not relent. Because they have rejected the law of the Lord and have not kept his decrees, because they have been led astray by false gods, the gods their ancestors followed,

“Hear, you mountains, the Lord’s accusation; listen, you everlasting foundations of the earth. For the Lord has a case against his people; he is lodging a charge against Israel.

For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
