Exodus 3:12

And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and wife, came to him in the wilderness, where he was camped near the mountain of God.

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Then Moses said, “This is how you will know that the Lord has sent me to do all these things and that it was not my idea:

“No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them.

The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

“This will be the sign for you, Hezekiah: “This year you will eat what grows by itself, and the second year what springs from that. But in the third year sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.

We must take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, as he commands us.”

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”

But if they say, ‘Come up to us,’ we will climb up, because that will be our sign that the Lord has given them into our hands.”

In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was the official in charge of the gatekeepers, and the Lord was with him.
