How often are they like straw before the wind, like chaff swept away by a gale?

I am forgotten as though I were dead; I have become like broken pottery.

The name of the righteous is used in blessings, but the name of the wicked will rot.

No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow them.

For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered; the days have already come when both have been forgotten. Like the fool, the wise too must die!
