New International Version

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:

and that they should proclaim this word and spread it throughout their towns and in Jerusalem: “Go out into the hill country and bring back branches from olive and wild olive trees, and from myrtles, palms and shade trees, to make temporary shelters”—as it is written.

They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

That is where the tribes go up— the tribes of the Lord— to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel.

When the seventh month came and the Israelites had settled in their towns, the people assembled together as one in Jerusalem.

Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob.

Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.

as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
