For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.

The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously;

They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

if only you fully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today.

They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail.
