The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ’

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ’

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
